“If I have done anything, even a little, to help small children enjoy honest,
simple pleasures, I have done a bit of good.”
~ Beatrix Potter
Woven into the Web
Weaving a web of learning together through Charlotte's Web.
Woven into the Web
Woven into the Web is a gentle curriculum, written by Lisa Wilkinson, for the entire family, focusing on literature and life on the farm as a base, blending together the rich and imaginative book, Charlotte’s Web.
Encouraging character growth and exploration, this curriculum will create a memorable learning experience for both the student and the teacher. The complete curriculum contains 22 intentional lessons that can be used over several days in part or 22 very thorough weeks in full. This collection includes a range of learning opportunities for preschool through middle school, minimally, when used as a family, or any of these grades as individual use.
Every lesson you will join together to study a new character trait, read thoughtful and well-written literature, as well as a new chapter of Charlotte’s Web, expanding your knowledge with vocabulary words, introduce and learn to appreciate poetry and art, complete your own student notebook, follow step by step STEM activities, as well as exploring farm and fair life in the mid 1900s with a developmentally appropriate hands-on approach.
Woven into the Web is a unique opportunity to learn creatively and thoughtfully while reading a well loved story that will challenge the heart and mind as you gather together, one chapter at a time.
